Nakyal: An important political development took place in Nakyal, when dozens of prominent political leaders and youth joined the Jammu Kashmir National People's Party (NAP) and the Jammu Kashmir National Student Federation (JKNFS). The central leadership present at the event included Sardar Liaquat Hayat Khan, Sardar Niaz Khan, Comrade Sardar Adil Khan, Nasir Javed, Hassnain Javed, Sikandar Hayat Janjua, Sardar Jawad Anwar Khan Advocate, and other key personalities.
Among those joining were Shah Nawaz Ali Sher Advocate, Sardar Idrees Khan, Sardar Asim Khan, Haji Tabassum Khan, Dawood Tariq Choudhary, Sardar Haroon Rahman Shamsi, Sardar Shumraiz Khan, Kazim Hussain Butt, Raja Sani Munir Kashmiri, Mian Naeem Ahmed Khan, Abdul Majeed Alam Choudhary, Ahmed, Owais Subhani, Ghulam Murtaza Choudhary, Mohammad Khurram Hussain, Shafaat Choudhary, Zahid Chohan, Naqib Ahmed Kazmi, Hal haj Sajad Niazi, Irshad Choudhary, Choudhary Mabeeb Yaseen, Imran Rasheed, Hafiz Ali Ahmed, Bostan, Shamshad, and many other individuals.
During the event, it was announced that 11th February will be observed as National Day in honour of the martyrdom of Maqbool Butt. The political leadership pledged to offer a new political alternative for a bright and prosperous future based on autonomy, revolution, and justice for the youth and people of Nakyal. They also vowed to intensify their struggle to address all local issues.
In their speeches, the President of Jammu Kashmir NAP, Sardar Niaz Khan, General Secretary Sardar Adil Khan, former President Sardar Liaquat Hayat Khan, Sikandar Hayat Janjua, Javad Anwar Khan Advocate, and Nasir Javed stated that the determination of the youth of Nakyal demonstrates their commitment to work for the development and prosperity of the region in the future and to play an active role in addressing the national issues of Jammu Kashmir and the unity of the working class.
The party leadership also expressed its full support for the Joint Awami Action Committee's Charter of Demands and pledged to play an active role in achieving these objectives. The ongoing political struggle in Nakyal clearly shows that the people and youth are moving towards a new political landscape, one that will lay the foundation for a future based on justice, equality, and autonomy. The youth's involvement is injecting new political energy into Nakyal, which will bring fresh momentum to the politics of the region.
